Any's Repair is looking for a reliable and motivated 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Plumber to join our growing property maintenance team. Based in Nunawading, we provide residential plumbing and property maintenance services across Melbourne's suburbs. This role is ideal for an apprentice who already has some hands-on plumbing experience and wants to further develop their skills in water plumbing, gasfitting and drainage. You will work alongside experienced, qualified plumbers and gain practical experience across a variety of residential maintenance and repair jobs.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with hot and cold water pipe installation and repairs
- Repair leaking taps, toilets, showers and water pipes
- Assist with hot water system repairs and replacement
- Identify plumbing faults and assist with general maintenance
- Assist qualified plumbers with gas pipe installation and repairs
- Assist with gas appliance servicing and replacement
- Learn gas testing, fault finding and safety procedures
- Carry out gasfitting tasks under appropriate supervision
- Assist with blocked toilets, sewer and stormwater drains
- Operate drain cleaning equipment under supervision
About you
- Currently a 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Plumbing Apprentice
- Previous hands-on plumbing experience
- Interested in residential maintenance and repair work
- Willing to learn water plumbing,
gasfitting and drainage
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work independently on appropriate tasks and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Victorian Driver Licence preferred
- Construction White Card required
- Experience with blocked drains, hot water systems or residential maintenance will be highly regarded
