a riverside Japanese restaurant and bar on Horton Street, Port Macquarie. Summer is our busiest time of year, and we’re looking for friendly, reliable people to join our team for the peak season.
About the role
We’re hiring for both front of house and kitchen positions:
- All-rounder: greeting and seating guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, keeping the floor running smoothly, and washing glasses and dishes
- Cook or Kitchen Hand: food prep, dishwashing, keeping the kitchen clean and organised, and serving customers when needed. Sushi-making experience is a plus, but not essential
Shifts are mainly evenings, Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays. Training is provided, and there’s the possibility of ongoing work for the right people.
About you
- Positive attitude and a team player
- Reliable and punctual
- Available for Friday, Saturday and public holiday shifts over summer
- Hospitality experience is a plus, but not essential. We’ll train you
- Current NSW RSA (front of house), or willing to obtain one before starting
- Full working rights in Australia
