Canberra Granny Flat Builders designs and builds granny flats, extensions and renovations across Canberra. We run our building sites to written procedures and a construction calendar, so every customer, trade and neighbour sees a protected, clean, well-organised site.

The role

We're looking for a casual Site Coordinator to look after our building sites while a team member is on leave. Your job is to keep our sites running smoothly so the build stays on schedule. It's hands-on and physical: you'll spend most of the day on site.

What you'll do

• Manage deliveries to our sites: check what's arrived, record it, and follow up anything missing or damaged.

• Keep sites clean, safe and organised, including the stage cleans at each step of the build.

• Complete site progress reports, with photos, at each stage of the build and after every clean.

• Install, move and look after our site cameras, and get them working again when they stop sending.

• Work with and direct our School Based Apprentices on site.

• Make sure safety standards are met and maintained on every site.

• Keep site signage and project paperwork in place and up to date.

• Take on other site tasks as they come up, such as minor demolition,



landscaping and installing site signage.

• Work across about 15 sites at a time, following written procedures and the construction calendar.

What we're looking for

• Experience on residential building sites (labouring, carpentry or site work).

• A current driver's licence. A company vehicle is provided for site travel.

• A construction White Card.

• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.

• Organised and reliable: you follow procedures, finish the job in one trip, and ask for help early when something isn't right.

• Friendly and professional with customers, trades and suppliers, and comfortable guiding young apprentices.

What we offer

• Casual role, Monday to Friday, about 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, from late October until our team member returns from leave in early 2027. There's no work during our Christmas shutdown.
