Alchemy Recruitment is partnering with a state government client to support them in recruiting for a Communications Officer (Design Support) on a 6-month contract (with extension potential) based in Nerang on the Gold Coast.
About the role
Pay rate of $62.90 per hour + super
6-month contract with possible extension, immediate start
Full time, based in Nerang
Design, lay out and produce branded collateral including flyers, fact sheets, newsletters, infographics, project maps, reports and presentations
Provide administrative support for stakeholder engagement activities, including note taking, records management and database upkeep
Coordinate procurement of design products, services and imagery through established approval processes
Manage a high-volume shared workload across the region using project management tools
Preferred Requirements
Proven ability to produce quality work quickly in a high-volume, deadline-driven setting
Exceptional attention to detail across multiple projects
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience with graphic design software, ideally Adobe Creative Suite
Knowledge of state government processes and policies
Robust stakeholder relationship and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and industry experience
Ability to obtain a satisfactory criminal history check
