Inhouse Consulting Engineers is growing — and we're looking for a Senior Structural Engineer ready to step into a role where they'll lead projects, mentor junior staff, and drive quality outcomes across residential and civil structures and forensic and remedial engineering.
Based in Norwest, this full-time position is ideal for an experienced engineer looking for autonomy, leadership and technical challenge in a supportive and professional workplace.
Your Role
Lead structural design for low to mid-rise residential, commercial and industrial developments
Investigate and report on structural issues for insurers, strata managers and NCAT
Design civil structures including retaining walls, culverts and drainage pits
Mentor junior engineers, guiding their technical development
About You
Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status
12 + years' experience in a consulting workplace locally
Proficient in concrete, steel and timber design to Australian Standards
Experience with software such as SpaceGass, RAPT,
or similar preferred
Skilled in writing clear, concise forensic or technical reports
Strong communication and leadership skills
Must hold Australian permanent residency status
