About the role

Australian Catering Services (ACS) is seeking passionate and efficient kitchen professionals to join our kitchen teams, working in multiple venues across South Brisbane. Positions available include Production Chefs, Catering Assistants & Prep Cooks. Both full time and casual positions available.

Key responsibilities
Prepare, cook, and assemble high-quality food for retail outlets, corporate hospitality, and function catering
Support smooth kitchen delivery during peak event periods from setup/prep through to service and pack-down
Maintain strict quality standards, consistency, and efficient portion control across high-volume production
Adhere strictly to Food Safety guidelines, dietary requirements, HACCP standards, hygiene protocols, and workplace health and safety (WHS) practices
Work productively within a fast-paced kitchen environment alongside Venue Managers, Head Chefs, and event staff

About you
Commercial kitchen, catering, or high-volume food production experience appropriate to the position applied for
Commercial Cookery qualifications (Certificate III/IV)



preferred for Production Chef roles; relevant food prep experience for Catering Assistants
Valid Food Handler / Food Safety Certificate or willingness to complete prior to start
Solid organisation, speed, attention to detail, and ability to perform under peak service pressure
Willingness to work aligned with event schedules, including weekends, evenings, and key event dates
