Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Customer Care Officer to join our National Customer Engagement Team, based in Moorabbin.

This is not a typical customer service position. You will support a portfolio of key national accounts and play an important coordination role between customers, suppliers, National Key Account Managers and Rexel branches across Australia.

To succeed, you will bring relevant experience from the electrical wholesale, trade supply or a similar distribution workplace, along with confidence communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and keep orders moving.

About The Role

As a key contact for national customers, you will provide responsive, solutions-focused support across orders, quotes, deliveries, product enquiries and account requirements.

You will need to be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a quick-paced workplace, communicating clearly with a broad internal network and working closely with suppliers to secure the right information, products and outcomes for customers.

Key Responsibilities




Provide exceptional day-to-day support to a portfolio of national customer accounts
Coordinate customer orders, quotations, deliveries, product enquiries and account requirements accurately and efficiently
Liaise regularly with Rexel branches, National Key Account Managers, suppliers and other internal teams
Build strong working relationships with suppliers to obtain pricing, product availability, lead times and technical or order-related information
Follow up outstanding orders, backorders, delivery issues and customer queries through to resolution
Support warm sales conversations, identify opportunities within existing accounts and help drive customer growth
Maintain accurate customer, order and account records within internal systems
Prepare reporting and customer information using Excel, PowerPoint and other business tools
Use initiative to resolve issues, improve processes and deliver a positive customer experience
