Design Sheetmetal is looking for a reliable, hands-on Storeperson to join our team in Bayswater, Victoria.
If you enjoy practical work, staying organised and being part of a team that gets things done, this could be the role for you.
You’ll help keep our warehouse running smoothly by managing stock, preparing orders and making sure materials are ready for production and dispatch.
What you’ll be doing
Receive, check and put away incoming stock
Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch
Move and organise sheet metal products and materials
Load and unload deliveries safely
Assist with stock control and stocktakes
Keep warehouse areas clean, tidy and organised
Support production and dispatch teams to keep orders moving
Complete stock records and paperwork accurately
Follow workplace health and safety procedures
Assist with general warehouse duties as required
What we’re looking for
You’re dependable, safety-conscious and take pride in doing a job well.
You’ll bring:
Previous storeperson or warehouse experience
Positive attention to detail and organisation
Ability to safely handle manual tasks and heavy materials
A reliable attitude and solid work ethic
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A commitment to workplace health and safety
A current forklift licence and experience handling steel or sheet metal products will be highly regarded.
