About the Role

We are seeking a passionate, skilled, and motivated Chef to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring consistently high food quality, maintaining excellent hygiene standards, and contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen.

This role is ideal for a chef who takes pride in their craft, works well under pressure, and is committed to delivering an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
Manage the daily operations of an assigned kitchen section.
Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipes, presentation standards, and portion control requirements.
Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic workstation at all times.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, workplace health and safety requirements, and kitchen procedures.
Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and minimise food waste.
Ensure ingredients are properly stored, labelled,



and rotated in accordance with food safety standards.
Assist with menu preparation, specials, and the development of new dishes.
Work collaboratively with the Head Chef to ensure smooth service.
Maintain high standards of food presentation, quality, and timely service during busy periods.
Assist with kitchen opening, closing, cleaning, and preparation duties as required.

Skills and Experience
Previous experience in a skilled kitchen, preferably in a Chef de Partie or above role.
Strong cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
Positive understanding of food safety, hygiene, and safe food handling practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Robust organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to maintain consistent quality under pressure.
A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
