The roles
Removalist Driver
Drive our removal trucks safely to and from jobs
Lead the crew on site and keep the job on schedule
Load and secure furniture and boxes so nothing shifts or gets damaged
Deal with customers in a friendly, skilled way
Complete basic vehicle checks and job paperwork
Removalist Offsider
Carry, wrap, pack and load furniture and boxes
Protect customers' homes and belongings with padding, blankets.
Work as part of a team with the driver
Learn on the job. No experience needed, and we'll train the right person
What we're looking for
Drivers:
A current Victorian MR / HR driver licence
Previous removals or heavy-lifting experience preferred
Positive knowledge of Melbourne roads
A clean driving record
Offsiders:
Valuable physical fitness and comfortable with heavy lifting
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
A car licence is helpful but not required
Everyone:
Reliable, punctual and presentable
Careful with customers' belongings
Right to work in Australia
Able to work weekdays and some Saturdays [adjust as needed]
