Job Description – Cleaner

Position: Cleaner / Housekeeping Staff

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness in residential and commercial properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality cleaning services while ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a safe and healthy setting.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
Clean and sanitise bathrooms, toilets, kitchens, and common areas.
Wipe and disinfect surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and frequently touched areas.
Clean mirrors, glass panels, windows, and other surfaces as required.
Empty rubbish bins and replace bin liners.
Change bed linens and make beds when required.
Maintain cleaning equipment and use cleaning products safely.
Follow cleaning checklists, workplace health and safety procedures, and hygiene standards.
Report any damages, maintenance issues, or safety hazards to the supervisor.




Complete assigned cleaning tasks efficiently and within scheduled timeframes.
Provide professional, friendly, and respectful customer service.

Skills and Qualifications
Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential.
Good attention to detail and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and capable of performing cleaning duties.
Honest, punctual, reliable, and hardworking.
Willingness to follow instructions and cleaning procedures.
Good communication skills.
Current National Police Clearance may be required.
Valid driver's licence and reliable transport are an advantage.

Pay: From $26.44 per hour
