Full-Time Commercial Cleaner | Karratha, WA

Cherratta Lodge is looking for a reliable and hardworking Commercial Cleaner to maintain a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation across our accommodation and communal facilities.

This is a full time, hands-on role suited to someone with previous commercial cleaning or housekeeping experience who can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your duties will include:
Cleaning accommodation rooms
Cleaning kitchens, offices and communal areas
Cleaning bathrooms, amenities and shared facilities
Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and dusting
Cleaning and sanitising surfaces and high-touch areas
Emptying bins, recycling and disposing of waste appropriately
Restocking cleaning and guest supplies
Safely using cleaning chemicals, materials and equipment
Completing detailed and periodic cleaning tasks
Reporting maintenance, safety and cleaning issues
Maintaining required hygiene and presentation standards
Completing other general cleaning duties as required

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:
A minimum of twelve (12) months’ relevant experience in commercial cleaning, housekeeping or accommodation cleaning
Strong attention to detail




A reliable and punctual approach to work
Ability to work efficiently and manage assigned cleaning tasks
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Understanding of protected cleaning practices and the correct use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
A positive attitude and robust work ethic
