We’re looking for a reliable, practical all-rounder with a positive, can-do attitude to help care for our private home and garden in Oatley. This is a permanent part time position, 1–2 days per week, with days and hours agreed together. You’ll enjoy varied, hands-on work, take initiative and take pride in a job well done.
Key responsibilities
Gardening, weeding, pruning and hedging (no mowing required)
Routine pool cleaning and maintenance
General cleaning and tidying around the house and outdoor areas
Rubbish removal and keeping areas organised
Small painting and touch-up jobs
Minor repairs and general handyman tasks
A variety of other household and property maintenance jobs as they arise
About you
Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to tackle different jobs
Reliable, trustworthy and respectful of a private home
Practical experience in gardening, maintenance or handyman work
Ability to work independently, notice what needs doing and follow through
A careful approach to tools and equipment, and valuable judgement about when a qualified tradesperson is needed
Pool maintenance experience would be helpful
