About the Role
As a FIFO Electrician, you'll be responsible for maintaining electrical systems across mine-site and camp facilities, helping ensure a safe, reliable and comfortable environment for site personnel.
Key Responsibilities
Performing electrical maintenance across mine-site and camp facilities.
Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults.
Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
Installing, repairing and maintaining electrical wiring and equipment.
Ensuring all work complies with Australian Standards and site safety procedures.
Responding to breakdowns and maintenance requests as required.
Participating in a small on-call roster component.
About You
To be successful, you will have:
Current WA A Grade Electrical Licence - essential.
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
Current CPR/LVR, First Aid,
Working at Heights and White Card.
Full Australian working rights.
Current National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain one.
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and ongoing drug and alcohol screening.
Current residence in the Perth metropolitan area.
Desirable
Current Rio Tinto site induction.
