Job Summary

Manila in Canberra is seeking a reliable and motivated Full-Time Cook to join our growing kitchen team.

The successful candidate will assist in food preparation, cooking, stock control, and maintaining food safety standards while delivering high-quality Filipino cuisine and exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities-Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and presentation standards.-Assist chefs in the preparation of authentic Filipino dishes and daily specials.-Portion, prepare and store food ingredients.-Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards.-Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control.-Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.-Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace health and safety regulations.-Work effectively within a rapid-paced kitchen workplace.

Requirements-Previous experience as a Cook or Kitchen Team Member.-Knowledge of commercial kitchen operations.-Experience with Filipino cuisine is highly regarded.-Ability to work weekends, evenings and public holidays.-Solid work ethic and attention to detail.
