Position Overview:
Strive Civil Engineering is a Western Australia-based civil contracting and engineering consultancy that delivers infrastructure projects across roadworks, drainage, structures, bridges, and specialised civil packages. Led by an experienced team, the company provides end-to-end project delivery from tender through to construction, supervision and handover, with a strong commitment to precision and safety.

As a Full-time Mechanical Engineer at Strive Civil Engineering, you will be responsible for designing, assessing and supporting the mechanical systems that underpin our civil infrastructure projects. This position requires strong technical engineering capability combined with the ability to collaborate effectively across civil, structural and project teams.

Responsibilities and Tasks:
Design and specify mechanical systems and equipment for civil infrastructure projects
Prepare calculations, drawings, technical reports and specifications
Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical and project teams
Support site inspections, installation,



testing and commissioning
Review contractor submissions and respond to technical queries
Make sure designs comply with relevant Australian Standards, codes and safety requirements
Contribute to project planning, budgeting and risk assessments

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
Minimum 2 year experience as a Mechanical Engineer
Proficiency in CAD and design software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Revit
Sound knowledge of mechanical design principles and relevant Australian Standards
Strong problem-solving, communication and cross-disciplinary teamwork skills
Ability to manage detailed technical workloads within project deadlines

Salary:
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $125,000 - $130,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
