Job Description
ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY The Teacher Aide – Junior School is responsible for providing support and assistance to the Teachers and students in the Junior School Learning Area. As a Teacher Aide you will complete a range of support and administrative tasks, including;
Support and assist the teacher during class time and assist students with class work;
Prepare and clean up after class activities;




Accompany students if they need to leave the class;
Encourage students to adhere to the schoolrules;
Assist with excursions, SportsDay and Swimming Carnivals and other events as required;
Prepare documents and student portfolios using Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel. To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and

experience:
Certificate III in Education Support and/ordemonstrated experience working as a Teacher Aide;
Be highly efficient & organised with exceptional attention to detail;
Professional and proactive communicator who works cooperatively and collegially with others;
Experience in using The Alpha School System (TASS) would be an advantage. SIGNIFICANT INFORMATION:
Agree to undergo a Criminal History/Police Check conducted by the School;
Be an Australian resident and eligible to work in Australia.
