Paul Louey Chinese Restaurant is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our team in Rye, Mornington Peninsula. If you're someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen and can work well with others, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

You'll be part of our kitchen team, assisting with daily food preparation and taking an active role in cooking during busy service periods.

Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing ingredients, including cutting vegetables and preparing meats
Assisting with general food preparation throughout the day
Managing an assigned section of the kitchen during service
Cooking and assembling dishes during lunch and dinner service
Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas
Following food safety and hygiene standards

What We're Looking For

No previous kitchen experience is required. We're looking for someone who's reliable, hardworking and willing to learn. Full training will be provided.





This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work and is comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment.

Be willing to learn new skills and take responsibility for assigned tasks
Be comfortable working in a rapid-paced environment
Have a positive attitude and work well within a team
Be available to work evenings and weekends
