Looking for a hands-on role where your skills make a real impact? Whitehaven is seeking experienced Maintenance Fitters to join our Gunnedah Basin Haulage team. Working on a fleet of 26 Scania A-doubles, you'll play a key role in keeping our operations protected, reliable and running to schedule. Whether you're local to the region or considering a move to the Gunnedah area, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
Carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs across our Scania A-double fleet
Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently to minimise downtime
Work safely and independently while meeting operational targets and deadlines
Follow protected work procedures, JSA requirements and site standards
Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to complete work orders effectively
Participate in a rotating 3-panel roster, including day and night shifts
What You'll Bring
Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent trade qualification
Demonstrated experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic
Experience maintaining Scania trucks (desirable)
Robust commitment to safety, teamwork and quality workmanship
Current unrestricted Driver's Licence
