About the role

Your role will include preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals and entities in Xero Practice Manager, managing BAS and IAS and general tax compliance, and assisting clients with tax planning and structuring, general taxation matters and Xero training. You will manage your own workflow and client portfolio, work directly with clients to obtain information, resolve queries and understand their businesses, and get involved with advisory work as your experience develops. You will complete reconciliations, workpapers and supporting schedules, build strong long-term client relationships, and maintain accurate client records and documentation.

Key responsibilities
Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns for individuals and entities in Xero Practice Manager
Manage BAS and IAS and general tax compliance

Build robust, long-term client relationships
Maintain accurate client records and documentation

About you
3+ years' public practice experience, as accounting/bookkeeping qualifications or industry experience is required
Strong experience across companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
Confidence preparing financial statements and tax returns
Strong Xero skills, with experience in XPM highly regarded
A genuine desire to continue developing technically and on the advisory side
Knowledge of FBT highly regarded
Knowledge of Super highly regarded
