REM Projects is seeking experienced A-Grade Licensed Electricians for FIFO work on mining projects and shutdowns in the Pilbara and Goldfields regions of Western Australia. Applications are welcome from candidates Australia-wide, with flights from Perth.
Key Responsibilities
LV installation, cable pulling, terminations and fit-off
Installation of cable ladder, tray and containment
Testing, verification and tagging to AS/NZS 3000 and site standards
Fault-finding, maintenance and shutdown works on fixed plant
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics and single-line diagrams
Working safely as part of a supervised site crew
Skills & Qualifications
WA A-Grade Electrical Licence (or interstate licence with eligibility to obtain a WA licence before mobilising)
Experience in mining or heavy industrial settings
Current driver's licence
Construction White Card
Current First Aid certificate
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
Working at Heights, EWP, Confined Space and CPR/LVR tickets highly regarded
HV switching, instrumentation or commissioning experience a bonus
