We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Communications Technicians to join our growing WA team to work on deference projects on Garden Island and Commercial projects in the Perth CBD. Reporting to the Project Manager and Site Supervisor, you will be required to work on all aspects of Communications Infrastructure Installation.

What are we looking for?
Highly motivated and adaptable qualified communications technicians
Experience working on Cat6A cabling projects
Experience working with Fibre optical cabling including splicing and testing
Fault finding and testing experience
Excellent work ethic – continuing to build our reputation for excellence
Good attention to detail maintained when working to time constraints
Outstanding communication skills
Solid understanding of safety, environmental and quality systems.
Ability to work autonomously

What do I need?
ACMA Licensed with the relevant endorsements




5 years’ experience in the industry
Construction White Card
EWP high risk licence
Understanding of AS/CA S009:2020 and AS/CA S008:2020
Experience on Communication fit-out projects
Experience on Cat6/6A patch panel / comms rack fit off
Experience with Fibre Optic Splicing and Testing

Desirable
Certificate III in telecommunications or higher
WA Electrical licenced Communications dual trader
Experience in working on secured government sites
Hold or be willing to gain vendor endorsements
