AMP Recruitment is seeking experienced Communications Technicians for commercial office fit-out projects across Brisbane.
We're looking for reliable technicians with robust experience in structured cabling, data installations and communications fit-outs who can hit the ground running.
What's on Offer:
$52–$55 per hour + $29.10/day travel allowance
Consistent full time hours
Commercial office fit-out projects
Ongoing opportunities with established electrical contractors
Key Responsibilities:
Installation and termination of Cat6/Cat6A data cabling
Data outlet installation, patch panels and communications racks
Cable tray,
basket and conduit installation
Testing and certification of data cabling
Reading and interpreting drawings and cable schedules
Rough-in and fit-off of communications infrastructure
Working alongside electrical teams on commercial fit-outs
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in commercial communications installations
ACMA Open Cabling Registration
Structured Cabling Endorsement
Experience with data testing equipment (Fluke advantageous)
White Card
Own tools and reliable transport
Ability to work independently and within a team
