About the role

You will advise privately owned businesses, companies and individuals including private family clients across a range of commercial matters. The role offers autonomy, close partner support and the opportunity to build trusted, long-term client relationships.

Key responsibilities
Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including services, supply, distribution, confidentiality and shareholder agreements
Advise on business sales and acquisitions, restructures and general corporate transactions
Provide practical advice on corporate governance, regulatory compliance and commercial risk
Manage matters from initial instructions through to completion, with appropriate partner guidance and support, including coordinating due diligence and transaction documents




Communicate clearly with clients, accountants, financial advisers and other stakeholders
Contribute to business development and the ongoing growth of the commercial practice

What we're looking for
Admitted as an Australian legal practitioner with at least 3 years post-admission experience
Demonstrated experience in commercial law, corporate transactions or a related practice area
Robust drafting, analytical and negotiation skills
A practical, solutions-focused approach and sound commercial judgement
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to provide transparent, practical legal advice
Proven ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in legal documentation
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
