Boorowa District Hospital, a rural healthcare provider in NSW, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a contract basis for 6 to 12 weeks, starting as soon as possible. This is an chance to work across emergency, acute, and aged care services in a multi-purpose setting, with in-charge responsibilities as part of a small, cooperative team. Preferred Requirements
Demonstrated experience in emergency department nursing,



including triage assessment and patient prioritisation
Solid background in acute care nursing with the ability to manage high-acuity presentations
Experience working in aged care or geriatric settings
Competence in triage protocols and emergency response procedures
Ability to work flexibly across multiple clinical areas and assume in-charge duties when required

Preferred Qualifications
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia
Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or willingness to obtain it
Post-graduate qualification in Emergency Nursing or equivalent clinical experience in emergency settings
