Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader with Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, stimulating, and educational setting for children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the daily program in your room and create a warm, protected, play-based environment where every child feels a sense of belonging
Plan, document and critically reflect on learning in line with the EYLF V2.0 and the NQS
Mentor and guide your team, setting the tone for teamwork, respect and high standards
Build genuine partnerships with families through daily connection, feedback and shared goals for their child
Provide a safe and supportive setting for children




Observe and document children's development
Maintain a clean and organized environment

Requirements:
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
Current First Aid Certificate
Working with Children Check
Mandatory Geccko Training
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated knowledge of EYLF & NQF with the ability to implement these into the Centre's educational program
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
At least 1+ years experience within an early childhood education setting preferred
