CMS Roofing Pty Ltd is a roofing construction business based in Matraville NSW. We deliver high quality installation services with over 20 years' experience across NSW. We are seeking a skilled carpenter to work on roof construction projects.

Key responsibilities
Work from plans, specifications and engineering details to set out and build roof structures
Measure, mark, cut and shape timber and other building materials accurately
Construct and install roof framing, including rafters, trusses, ceiling joists, bracing and battens
Fit and fix associated carpentry such as fascias, barge boards and eaves
Use hand tools, power tools and site equipment safely and efficiently
Check work against specifications and fix errors before handover
Follow WHS requirements, including secure work at heights




Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to keep jobs on schedule
Look after tools, materials and the work area

About you
Certificate III in Carpentry, or an equivalent trade qualification
At least 1 year of hands-on carpentry experience, including roof framing
Proven ability to read plans and set out roof structures
Sound knowledge of timber framing methods and relevant building standards
Current White Card and Working at Heights Certificate, and any other required licences and permits
Positive attention to detail and the ability to work independently or in a team
Reliable and punctual, with solid safety awareness
