Experienced Small Animal Veterinarian – Full-Time

Our client is a modern, independently owned small animal clinic in a highly sought-after coastal region of NSW. We are looking for an experienced veterinarian to join their tight-knit, happy team on a permanent part time basis.

About the clinic:
his is a true full-service hospital with all the toys you’d expect (digital radiology, ultrasound, in-house IDEXX, IM3 dental, etc.) and a genuine focus on work-life balance, mental health, and continued growth. The team prides itself on high standards of care delivered in a relaxed, supportive and fun environment.

The role
Full time hours including 1 in 3 or 4 Saturdays
100 % small animal, general practice caseload
Plenty of routine surgery and dentistry with encouragement to take on more complex procedures as desired
Sole charge at times, but always with experienced nurses and a second vet in office most days

What’s on offer
Above-award salary – genuinely reflective of your experience
4 weeks annual leave

1 week paid CPD leave + up to $1,500 CPD allowance
Free access to an Employee Assistance Program (confidential counselling)
Real flexibility and a clinic that walks the talk on mental health and lifestyle
Live 10–15 minutes from spectacular beaches and still only 2 hours from Sydney

About you
Minimum 2 years’ experience in small animal practice
Confident and efficient with routine soft-tissue surgery and dentistry
Excellent communication skills and a natural relationship-builder with clients
Happy to work independently when needed but also love being part of a small, cooperative team
Passionate about ongoing learning and delivering gold-standard care without the corporate pressure

If you’re an experienced vet who’s ready for coastal mornings, shorter working weeks, and a clinic that actually looks after its people, I’d love to hear from you.
