St Mary MacKillop Catholic Primary School Applications are invited from beginning and mid career teachers to join a team dedicated to achieving engaging learning experiences that challenge children to achieve their personal best. We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking team players who will be able to create curriculum, manage change and support students in a developing environment within the middle to senior school. The successful applicant needs to be able to demonstrate how they can inspire the children in their care and communicate their passion. It is expected that the successful applicant will:

be highly motivated, committed, positive, friendly and enthusiastic
have knowledge and experience of the Victorian Curriculum, current educational thinking and evidence based learning
have an understanding and demonstrated use of evidence based best practice, particularly a robust understanding of the Science of Learning
a capacity to use data to make informed decisions about learning and teaching




be able to communicate frequently and sensitively with families and successfully engage them in the instructional program
have the ability to be a team-oriented contributor within a team focussed learning community
be able to build positive relationships with children and create learning environments where all are valued and challenged
have the capacity to cater effectively for a diverse range of learning needs
be committed to skilled learning and ongoing improvement through a process of reflective practice and feedback
be able to embed ICT into classroom practice This community of St Mary MacKillop is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care. All applicants need to demonstrate a commitment to the same principles.
Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School (Please include Accreditation Documentation), or willing to undertake Accreditation.
