Role Description This is a full-time, in office Construction Estimator role based in Brisbane, QLD. You will work in partnership with the CA’s, construction manager and site supervsiors, working as a team to get the best results. The Construction Estimator is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for residential and commercial projects, including quantity take-offs, pricing, and budget development. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing drawings and specifications, obtaining and comparing supplier and subcontractor quotes, and building and maintaining an up-to-date cost database in Cubit. The role involves collaborating closely with CA’s,



construction and project managers and site teams to refine budgets, and ensure cost alignment throughout the project lifecycle. The Construction Estimator also assists with risk identification, and value engineering options.

Qualifications
Ability to perform Construction Estimating and Quantity Take-offs with accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong Cost Management and Budgeting skills to develop, monitor, and adjust project financials.
Effective Communication skills to collaborate with project teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with construction drawings and specifications.
Relevant experience in building and construction estimating; a qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is advantageous.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on deadlines and quality standards.
Knowledge of local construction markets, materials, and trade pricing in Brisbane and the broader QLD region.
Experience with Procore and / Cubit would be an advantage
