Kieron Wineberg, Lead Consultant at GVC – Global Veterinary Careers, is working with a well-established, privately owned small-animal veterinary practice that is now seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join their supportive team in a casual capacity.
About the Role
The successful candidate will play an key role in maintaining smooth clinic operations while delivering a high standard of patient care and client service. This position includes a wide range of nursing duties in a professional, caring environment.
Key Responsibilities
Providing high-quality surgical, anaesthetic, and hospital nursing
Monitoring, treating, and maintaining accurate patient documentation
Supporting consultations and running nurse appointments
Maintaining theatre, equipment, and sterilisation to a high standard
Assisting with reception duties including client communication and scheduling
Helping maintain a clean, secure, and organised clinical environment
Upholding gold-standard clinical care and positive client experiences
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and a minimum of 3 years of experience
Robust clinical knowledge and a commitment to ongoing development
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A calm, mature, and compassionate approach to patient and client care
Strong organisation and time management
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
