An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and compassionate Veterinary Nurse to join a large, reputable not-for-profit animal hospital located in Campbellfield. This is a fast-paced, community-focused setting that offers exposure to diverse medical and surgical cases while working alongside a skilled and supportive veterinary team.

Responsibilities

As a key member of the clinical team, you will:
Provide high-standard nursing care across medical, surgical, and emergency cases
Assist veterinarians with consultations, procedures, and diagnostics
Perform anaesthetic monitoring and manage patient recovery
Support triage, inpatient care, and hospital workflow management
Maintain cleanliness, sterility, and organisation of clinical areas
Deliver empathetic and clear communication to clients
Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture

About You

You will thrive in this role if you have:
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)




1–2+ years of experience in GP, shelter, or hospital settings
Strong skills in anaesthesia, surgical nursing, and patient monitoring
Ability to remain calm in a busy, rapid-changing environment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
A compassionate, community-minded approach to animal care
