We are seeking a reliable, motivated and practical person to join our team in a varied role combining hands‑on warehouse duties with administration tasks. This is a full time, Monday to Friday position, working from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.
Key responsibilities
Receiving, checking and organising incoming stock including palletised freight and container deliveries
Picking and packing customer orders and arranging freight bookings
Maintaining accurate inventory records and coordinating regular stocktakes
Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, safe and well organised
Operating a walkie stacker to move and handle stock
Delivering local orders using the company van
Performing regular physical duties, including lifting, carrying and moving stock
Entering data and maintaining accurate customer and product records
Booking freight and coordinating deliveries
Processing sales shipments and invoices
About you
Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word
Good computer skills, including data entry, preparing stocktakes and maintaining stock records
Experience using online freight booking systems
Good written and verbal communication skills,
with accurate spelling and a sound grasp of mathematics
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
A positive understanding of workplace health and safety (WHS), with a commitment to maintaining a safe working workplace
The ability to manage competing priorities and work efficiently
A current driver's licence and the ability to undertake local deliveries using the company van
Experience with Unleashed or a similar inventory management system is highly regarded
Previous experience in international logistics, including coordinating import shipments and working with overseas suppliers or freight forwarders, would be an advantage
