Diploma Early Childhood Educator or ECT - Full Time Room Leader Role

Sunshine Kids has been providing care to families in Sydney’s inner west for 16years. Our passionate team members educate and care for 103 children per day in our converted warehouse space.We take inspiration from the Reggio Emilia philosophy and our philosophy is based upon nurturing, learning, respect and community.We are located close to local parks, cafes which canbe enjoyed during lunch breaks.

About the role

When placing you with a team, we will consider your experience, passions and interests to place you with the team that best fits. In this role, you will be part of a supportive and passionateteam of educators whodeliver ahigh quality and inclusive early childhood program for children that reflects current theory, practice and the values and philosophies of Sunshine Kids.

In this role you and your team will be allocated non contact programing time together each week to plan for your group and develop the program. You will have access to training and mentoring by our Mentor from REAIE,



Educational Leader and Project Leader who will support you in relation to programming and planning.

About You
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards
Current Working with Children Check (NSW)
Geccko Safety Training
Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework
Commitment and skill in providing quality experiences and inviting learning environments for children
Ability to work as part of a team
Current Early ChildhoodFirst Aid certificate
