About our client: Randstad is pleased to be partnering with our client who are a large, well-known business based in Brisbane Northside. They are seeking a Payroll Officer to join their payroll team on a 12-month fixed-term basis, working within a team currently focused on continuous improvement, compliance and best practice.

About the role
End-to-end processing of pay runs accurately and on time
Updating and maintaining employee records and data
Managing time and attendance systems, pay rules, and leave processing
Complete preparation of Year End activities and reconciliations




Award interpretation and ensuring end-to-end payroll compliance
Responding to customer and employee queries in a timely and qualified manner

About you
2+ years experience in a similar dedicated payroll position
Proven experience using a large payroll system
Experience working within medium to high-volume payroll environmentsStrong experience with Award interpretation
High level of attention to detail and strong numerical skills
