The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Senior Engineer: Mine Planning, you will deliver short-and medium-term planning and scheduling for underground operations to meet safety, production and cost targets aligned with Agnew’s strategic objectives. This role is offered on 8 days on 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth

What You’ll Do
Develop accurate short to medium term mine plans that support operational objectives and LOM timeframes.
Review economic evaluations for each mine design completed within the Engineering Team to ensure financial objectives are met under determined cut-off grades
Ensure mine plans consider ventilation, infrastructure, DnB and paste fill needs
Prepare stope designs, decline, escapeways and level plan layouts, and mining instructions aligned with operational mining schedule.
Create infrastructure plans and schedules aligned with mining interactions and budget constraints




Providing timely and accurate planning guidance for the delivery of the mining department production schedules.
Collaborate across departments to support key projects.

What You’ll Bring
Tertiary Qualifications in Mining Engineering, or a related discipline
Solid knowledge of statutory safety requirements relevant to mining and ability to obtain WA FCMM Certificate (UG time completed).
Strong underground engineering experience, ideally in gold.
Proficiency in MS Office and mining software (Deswik CAD, Deswik Scheduler, Ventsim)
Manual Driver’s license
