We are inviting Expressions of Interest from skilled CAD Drafters for upcoming opportunities within the defence industry. Candidates should have experience preparing accurate engineering drawings and supporting design teams with technical drafting and documentation.Key Responsibilities
Prepare and modify 2D engineering drawings and 3D models.
Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and design instructions.
Update drawings in line with engineering changes and project requirements.
Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure drawing accuracy and quality.
Profile
Key Requirements:
Relevant qualification in Engineering Drafting, Mechanical Design, or a related discipline.
Experience with CAD software and engineering drawing standards.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
Defence industry experience is highly preferred.
Solid attention to detail and organisational skills.
Australian citizenship is mandatory.
Minimum Baseline Security Clearance is required.
