We are inviting Expressions of Interest from FEA Engineers interested in upcoming defence industry prospects. Candidates should have experience in finite element analysis, structural simulation, and engineering assessments to evaluate the performance and integrity of components and assemblies.Key Responsibilities
Perform finite element analysis of mechanical components, structures, and assemblies.
Develop simulation models, define boundary conditions, and assess loading scenarios.
Conduct structural, stress, deformation, and fatigue analyses as required.
Interpret simulation results and provide recommendations for design improvements.
Prepare technical reports and document analysis assumptions, methods, and findings.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to resolve structural and performance issues.
Profile
Key Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
Experience in FEA, structural analysis, and engineering simulation.
Familiarity with relevant FEA software and simulation methodologies.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, material properties, and loading conditions.
Defence industry experience is highly preferred.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Australian citizenship is mandatory.
Minimum Baseline Security Clearance is required.
