Senior Data Governance Implementation Analyst | Federal Government | Sydney

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Data Governance Implementation Analyst to join a major data

transformation program within a Federal Government agency.

This is a hands-on implementation role focused on taking data governance from framework to practice, embedding governance processes, ownership, stewardship and tooling across business and technology teams.

What you’ll be doing:
Implement data governance operating models across business domains
Establish data ownership, stewardship and governance processes
Lead workshops with business, technology and program stakeholders
Embed metadata, business glossary, lineage and data quality practices
Support adoption of governance tooling like Collibra, Informatica, Atlan, Alation or Microsoft Purview
Apply governance requirements to migrated datasets and enterprise data platforms
Drive stakeholder engagement, organisational change and adoption

What we’re looking for:





You’ll have solid hands-n data governance implementation experience within a large, complex organisation, ideally government or a regulated workplace.

You’ll be comfortable translating governance frameworks into practical processes and bringing stakeholders

along the journey.

Sydney | Hybrid, minimum 50% in office

12-month contract

Australian Citizenship required | Must be able to obtain Baseline clearance
