At Actemium Industrial Services, we're growing and are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician based in the Rockhampton region to join our team.This is a primarily local role, allowing you to enjoy a strong work-life balance while contributing to the successful delivery of electrical and industrial projects across Queensland's industrial sector.
You'll work on a variety of projects that support critical infrastructure and industrial operations, with opportunities to develop your skills alongside a highly experienced team.What You'll Be DoingDelivering electrical installation, upgrade and commissioning projects across industrial facilitiesPerforming maintenance, fault-finding and repairs on Low Voltage (LV) control and power systemsInterpreting electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentationDiagnosing and resolving faults across control systems and power circuitsEnsuring all work is completed safely,
efficiently and in compliance with relevant standards and proceduresSupporting project delivery from installation through to commissioning and handoverWhat You'll BringYou are a safety-focused Industrial Electrician who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and building strong working relationships.
You enjoy working autonomously when required while also contributing as part of a collaborative project team.A minimum of 3 years' experience in an industrial electrical environmentStrong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills on LV and ELV systemsExperience working with industrial control and power systemsThe ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematicsA proactive approach to safety, quality and continuous improvementStrong communication and teamwork skillsQueensland Electrical Licence (Electrical Fitter Mechanic)Construction Industry White CardCurrent LVR & CPR certificationCurrent Queensland Class C Driver's LicenceNice to haveWorking at HeightsElevated Work Platform (EWP) LicenceExperience in industrial maintenance and project environmentsCertificate IV in Electrical InstrumentationEEHA CertificationHV SwitchingLeading Hand ExperienceWhat We OfferJoining our high performing and diverse team, you will have the opportunity to deliver major infrastructure projects across the range of segments and build relationships with the wider Actemium network.
