Our landmark building is located on Village High Road in Vaucluse.
We are a 97-place centre and our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.
We are open 52 weeks a year, except for Public Holidays.We are seeking experienced a motivated Diploma qualified educators to join a professional and dedicated team of Early Childhood Teachers and Educators.
The position is full time 38 hrs, 5 days (Monday to Friday).
You will have the privilege of working with like-minded collaborators who are setting the recent benchmark for early learning.Qualifications & ExperienceDiploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.Current First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training, or willingness to obtain.Current Child Protection and Child Safety training or willingness to obtain.Clear Working with Children Check.Australian citizen or permanent residents are encouraged to apply.At least 1 year of previous experience working with children aged Birth to 5 years.Genuine willingness to work with any age groups (including Birth to 2 years).




Sound computer literacy skills related to documentation and program planning.Demonstrated understanding of current education and care legislation regulations and guidelines.High level interpersonal skills, demonstrated initiative and problem-solving ability.Effective implementation of theory and research-based pedagogy.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesCreate an environment that acknowledges and encourages each and every child's agency and participation.Facilitate and document learning opportunities founded on children's interests.Work collaboratively with a team of ECT and Diploma qualified professionals.Develop and maintain positive and welcoming relationships with families.Follow centre's philosophy, policies and procedures.Reasons for working with us at Harbour Early Learning VaucluseAbove award wage (Children's Services Awards ****).
