Staffpower is excited to be recruiting for a fantastic opportunity with an established and growing grain processing and export operation based in Barnawartha.We're searching for a reliable, mechanically minded and motivated Grain Handling & Production Operator who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves, enjoys learning new skills and wants to build a long-term career.This isn't your typical warehouse or production job!
You'll be involved in everything from grain handling and quality sampling to operating machinery, forklifts and assisting with export preparation.If you're looking for more than just a job, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for!

Excellent pay rate of $35 per hour plus superannuationFull-time employment with consistent weekday hoursMonday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pmOvertime opportunities during busy periods, particularly harvest seasonWork with a variety of machinery and equipment, including up to 32 tonne forklifts and John Deer tractorsWhat Will You Be Doing?
No two days will be quite the same!
Your responsibilities will include:Operating grain handling,



processing and packaging machineryCollecting and assessing grain samples to assist with quality gradingDirecting grain into appropriate storage silos according to qualityOperating forklifts to move, load and stack productsPreparing and packing products for exportAssisting with bale handling and stacking operationsOperating a John Deere tractor when required, with training providedGeneral warehouse duties, cleaning and maintaining an organised workspaceEnsuring equipment is operated safely and efficientlyWhat Are We Looking For?

We're looking for someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn and the common sense to get things done!
Ideally, you'll bring:A current forklift licenceA current driver's licence and reliable transportGood mechanical aptitude and confidence around machineryExcellent attention to detail, particularly when it comes to quality controlThe ability to think for yourself, solve problems and show initiativeA physically capable, hands-on approach to workA strong work ethic, reliability and a positive attitudeA genuine interest in securing long-term employment and developing new skillsReady for Something Different?
