Supported by a collaborative team of GPs, nurses, and healthcare professionals, the clinic is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to the local community.We are currently seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team in a permanent part-time capacity of up to 30 hours per week.
This is an excellent prospect to work across a diverse range of clinical services, including immunisations, health assessments, chronic disease management, minor procedures, and treatment room support, while building valuable experience within a busy general practice setting.About the RoleAs an Enrolled Nurse at Cairns Central Medical, you will play an important role in supporting our GPs and delivering high-quality patient care within a busy general practice environment.
Working collaboratively with the clinical team and within your scope of practice, your responsibilities may include:Assisting with patient care, triage support, and treatment preparationPreparing and maintaining treatment roomsAdministering immunisations, wound care, and other nursing procedures as authorisedSupporting chronic disease management activities and care plan coordinationConducting health assessments and clinical measurements (e.g. ECG, spirometry,



and audiometry)Assisting with minor procedures and patient follow-upMaintaining accurate clinical records and documentationProviding patient education, health promotion, and supportThe clinic provides a broad range of services, including health assessments, immunisations, minor surgery, chronic disease support, and diagnostic testing, offering the opportunity to develop your clinical skills across a diverse patient base.Role RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will have:Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled NursePrevious experience in General Practice, Primary Care, or a similar healthcare setting is highly regarded but not essentialDemonstrated clinical and procedural nursing skills within your scope of practiceExcellent communication and patient-care abilitiesExperience using clinical software systems, or the willingness to learnThe ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare teamA friendly, professional, and compassionate approach to patient careA commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare and positive patient outcomesThis opportunity is ideal for an Enrolled Nurse seeking a rewarding role within a supportive and patient-focused medical practice.Why Join Us?
