They offer independent living alongside in-home support and on-site care, and they're growing, with new communities in development.They're looking for an experienced cook to join the team at their Albury village on a casual basis.The roleYou'll be the village's in-house cook, preparing nutritious, good-quality meals for residents.
You'll report to the Village Manager.Planning and cooking daily meals, including for residents with special dietary needsHelping with stocktakes, food orders and costingKeeping to food handling and health and safety requirementsCatering for events and functions within the villageRespecting resident privacy and confidentialityHoursEvery second Saturday and Sunday, 10am–2pmEvery second Wednesday,
10am–6.30pmExtra shifts are available to cover leaveWhat you'll needExperience in a similar role, ideally in aged care, retirement living or healthcare cateringExperience preparing meals for elderly residents with special dietary needsCertificate IV in Commercial Cookery or other formal chef/cook trainingA current Food Handling CertificateA National Police Check, First Aid and CPR (or the ability to get them)Positive availability across weekdays and weekends (weekends are essential)The ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testingWhat's on offer$30–$35 per hourA free, confidential Employee Assistance Program for you and your familyWellbeing programs, safety training and a free annual flu vaccinationAn award-winning learning and development team, with room to grow your career
