Uplift Recruitment is partnering with a premium Solar retailer, a locally owned and operated solar and battery installation business, to recruit a reliable and hardworking Trade Assistant to join their growing installation team.This is an excellent prospect for someone with a background in construction, roofing, scaffolding or general labouring who enjoys hands-on work and is looking to build a long-term career within the renewable energy industry.About the roleWorking alongside qualified electricians and experienced solar installers, you'll be responsible for assisting with residential solar installations across Townsville and surrounding areas.Key responsibilitiesAssisting with the installation of solar panels on residential rooftopsHandling, positioning and mounting solar panels and associated equipmentPreparing and assembling solar mounting systemsLoading, unloading and organizing tools, equipment and materialsAssisting with general installation preparation under appropriate supervisionSafely operating hand tools and power toolsMaintaining clean, organized and safe worksitesFollowing workplace health and safety procedures,
