That's why we've built a structured internship pathway designed to help Provisional Psychologists develop confidence, capability and genuine clinical experience within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.Based from our Wollongong office, you'll work across a combination of clinic, community and telehealth settings, giving you exposure to a diverse range of clients, presentations and ways of working.What the Internship Can Offer You Our structured 12-month internship is designed for Master of Professional Psychology (5+1) graduates from Australian universities who are ready to commence their internship in ****.You'll have access to:Full AHPRA primary and secondary supervision with no out-of-pocket supervision costsExperienced Psychology supervision and leadership supportStructured onboarding and a gradual clinical ramp-upMentoring and support from Senior and Lead PsychologistsDiverse clinical experiences to support the development of your AHPRA competenciesRegular individual and group supervision and peer reflective practiceAccess to professional development and ongoing learning opportunitiesA collaborative multidisciplinary environment with robust peer supportA mix of clinic,



community and telehealth-based service deliveryAs part of your role, you'll also become registered to practise as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, with Positive Behaviour Support forming part of your broader caseload.
This provides additional exposure to disability and behaviour support practice while your primary professional development remains focused on progressing through your Psychology internship.Your 12-Month JourneyYour caseload and responsibilities will gradually increase as your confidence and capability develop, supported by regular supervision throughout your internship.Your experience will include:Comprehensive induction, shadowing and practical skills developmentA gradually increasing caseload aligned with your experience and development needsRegular clinical and operational supervisionGroup supervision and peer reflective practicePsychology assessment, formulation, intervention and report writingExposure to diverse presentations, populations and cross-cultural contextsExperience working across disability and community settingsExposure to Positive Behaviour Support as part of your broader caseloadOpportunities to collaborate with participants, families, support networks and other professionalsMultidisciplinary collaboration with clinicians across allied health and behaviour supportA combination of Wollongong clinic, community and telehealth workWork with diverse people and communitiesThe communities we support are diverse, and we're committed to building a workforce that can provide inclusive,
