We are seeking a motivated and friendly Full-Time Dispensary Technician to join our successful and well-established pharmacy team in a outstanding location.About the roleThe role of the Dispensary Technician is to support our Pharmacists in providing a great customer experience, helpful advice and education on health products, provision of health screening services, timely and relevant advice and assistance promoting Blooms The Chemist Coogee.
The role is based in the Pharmacy.Key responsibilitiesDeliver a consistent customer experience for every customer, where they will receive a warm welcome, be provided with exceptional service and advice, and a heartfelt farewellProvide an environment where the customer is welcomed and has an easy shopping experienceCare for customers and drive sales by providing advice on a range of products to suit needsMaintain awareness of customers at all times, providing service, direction and product knowledge as requiredCoordinate the control of prescription only medication inventory to ensure adequate stock levels and integrity,



including stock ordering, stock rotation, temperature control, stock integrity and security, and stock takeDispense medicine in accordance with active dispensing principles to maximise care provided to customerCoordinate claim processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness, including NHS claims and Community Pharmacy Agreement claimsEnsure compliance and promotion of all occupational health and safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of all employees and visitorsConduct yourself with the highest legal, moral and ethical standardsAttend all required training sessionsAbout youS2 & S3 TrainingCert IV in Community Pharmacy a bonusDemonstrated experience in providing customer care in a pharmacy settingPharmacy and Health product knowledgeInterest in providing Health adviceDemonstrated experience in dispensingProven ability to coordinate NHS and Community Pharmacy claims
