Fairbairn Golf Club seeks the employment of additional casual bar staff who have experience in customer service in a hospitality environment.
The bar staff will assist the Club Manager to ensure that members are happy and satisfied with the quality of service they are receiving with respect to clubhouse service and golf operations.Key responsibilitiesOpening and closing the venueBar operations and presentationGolf bookings and membership enquiriesGolf competition starting and closureAbout youStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with members and visitorsAn ability to take pride in giving great service to customersHolding a current RSA or the ability to obtain oneDemonstrated ability to be able to work independently and within a team environmentPossess positive time management and organisation skillsExperience in the use of business management systems relating to a golf club management setting would be an advantage - training will be provided as requiredAn understanding of Golf Operations would be desiredAbout usThe Fairbairn Golf Club is situated within the Fairbairn precinct, located at the north-east corner of the Canberra International Airport.
It is a full, well maintained 18-hole par 70 course.
