Newlife Church is seeking a passionate and experienced Accounting professional to join our team on a permanent, part time basis.
This important role supports the financial health of Newlife Church by managing accounting functions, financial reporting, and compliance to ensure our resources are managed responsibly and effectively in support of our mission.Working Closely with the Business Manager and Finance Team, this role ensure that financial functions, reporting, and systems are accurate and compliant across Newlife Church.Key responsibilitiesManage financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, budgeting analysis, grant funds,



cashflow and statutory complianceWork closely with the Business Manager on financial functions and systems accuracyCoordinate the annual external auditProvide backup to the payroll functionEnsure financial obligations are met accurately and on timeAbout youBachelor's degree in accountingBroad accounting experiencePayroll knowledgeConfidence using MYOB and Microsoft OfficeStrong organisational and communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage competing prioritiesCommitment to the mission, values, and ethos of Newlife Church and the Uniting Church in AustraliaDemonstrates integrity and attention to detailAbout usNewlife Church is a growing church committed to its mission and values within the Uniting Church in Australia.
