Join our team as an Optical Dispenser and Keyholder at Birkdale Optical, one day or two half days a week with no evening or weekend or public holiday work.In this part time position, you will:- Welcome patients and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist patients in selecting frames that complement their face shape, lifestyle, and prescription.
- Take accurate measurements and place lens orders.
- Fit glasses, perform straightforward frame adjustments, and handle repairs.
- Manage reception tasks, including bookings, payments, and health fund claims.
- Receive and organize orders of glasses and optical items.
- Maintain fresh and inviting displays to enhance the shopping experience.
- Support our optometrists with various tasks before and after eye tests.The ideal candidate will be:- Friendly and confident, with a genuine enjoyment in interacting with people of all ages.




- Attentive to detail, ensuring accuracy with prescriptions and orders.
